What is AI Product Lab?

A program for people who want to build together.

AI Product Lab is not a traditional course. A small interdisciplinary team actively collaborates on a real digital product and learns through its full lifecycle — from research and planning to building, testing, communication and the next iteration.

AI can support research, planning, design, implementation and communication. Human judgment, care and collaboration remain central.

Learn by building. Build something that continues.

    Problem discovery, user needs, research, product scope and MVP planning.

    Planning & teamwork

    Roles, tasks, collaborative workflows, documentation, Git and GitHub.

    Design & user experience

    User journeys, UX/UI, prototyping, visual identity and accessibility.

  4. 04

    AI-assisted development

    ChatGPT, Codex and other suitable tools, implementation, code review, testing and iteration.

    Deployment & release

    An educational look at hosting, environments, deployment, data persistence and releasing a product.

  6. 06

    Communication & promotion

    Presenting a product on IT Komuna, writing, visual assets, demo videos and planning how to reach initial users.

    Feedback & continued development

    User feedback, evaluating results, identifying improvements and planning future iterations.

03 / Pilot 01

Idea Lab is the first shared product.

AI Product Lab is the program. Idea Lab is the first product the Pilot 01 group will scope, build, test and present together.

Idea Lab is a proposed visual workspace for organizing ideas, conversations, decisions and project knowledge. Its broader concept may include imports, linked information and user-approved AI suggestions — not guaranteed first-release features.

The pilot group will establish a realistic first scope together.

04 / Who can apply?

Different skills. Shared responsibility.

Up to 10 participants will be selected from a wider group of applicants. We welcome people from software development, UX/UI, design, research, product, writing, communications, marketing, testing and other relevant fields.

Advanced programming knowledge is not required for every role. Motivation, approximate availability and willingness to work with others matter.

05 / What participants gain

Experience that stays connected to real work.

Participants gain practical experience with teamwork, modern tools and workflows, real product development, documentation, communication and presenting a first release.

The program does not promise employment, payment, certificates, ownership percentages or commercial success.

Would you like to join the first AI Product Lab team and take part in building Idea Lab together? Send us a short introduction, your area of interest and a few sentences about your motivation.

The exact start date and organizational details will be announced later.

Up to 10 participants will be selected for Pilot 01. The number of applications is not limited. Sending a preliminary application does not guarantee selection.

Is AI Product Lab a course?
No. It is a collaborative learning program built around a shared product.
Do I need programming experience?
Not for every role. Different skills and perspectives are welcome.
Does everyone work on the same product?
Yes. Pilot 01 works together on the first version of Idea Lab.
How many participants will be selected?
Up to 10 participants will be selected.
How are participants selected?
Pilot 01 is planned for up to 10 participants. Selection will consider motivation, availability, and the different skills that can contribute to collaborative work on Idea Lab.
When does the program begin?
The exact program start date will be announced soon.
What is the time commitment?
The program will involve regular collaborative work and independent activities. The exact schedule and duration will be announced before it begins.
Is participation free?
Yes. Participation in the first AI Product Lab cohort (Pilot 01) is completely free.

IT KOMUNA MEETUP 01
From prompt to product

The first IT Komuna meetup is being planned in Novi Sad. It will explore practical work with ProjectFlow and Lovable, AI Website Builder, ChatGPT, Codex and Fridica, Git and GitHub, and hosting — followed by an introduction to AI Product Lab.
